As an Inventory Specialist, you are responsible for putting inventory away in the correct location at our warehouse. In order to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner, you will also pick, pack and pull equipment and prepare it for shipment. Additional responsibilities include performing cycle counts, physical inventories and tearing down out-of-date equipment for scrap.
Responsibilities: Complete all stages of order fulfillment including accurately picking, packing and shipping orders. Assist management in maintaining inventory levels and notifying for timely re-orders. Periodically pick-up orders from local suppliers. Assist in maintaining warehouse cleanliness. Additional duties required as needed.
- Responsible for sourcing new products
- Compare prices and quality of different products from different suppliers
- Oversees cooperation between different suppliers to supply different parts from more than one factory to manufacture one product.
- Co-operate between different departments for the accomplishment of new projects
- Follow up on samples receipt / approval and production of new products
- Responsible for final approval for the shipment of a new product shipment

Generate purchase orders; liaise with freight forwarders to plan shipment collections; analyze purchasing and stock reports to maintain stock levels to agreed Company targets Monitor supplier performance, providing notification to the sales / production teams when delivery problems are anticipated Coordinate and manage all aspects of the new supplier process including, but not limited to, identification of potential new suppliers, auditing, approving, etc. Obtains the best quality, service, and value for products and services through effective bidding, negotiation, and supplier management. Identifies manufacturing needs, identifies and selects suppliers, negotiates contracts, and arranges delivery. Purchases critical, complex and/or high dollar parts, equipment, services, and materials.
